Echo in Sessions or Stage

When audio gives an echo in the stream while being on camera this can be annoying for speakers themselves or attendees tuning in and may even end up in your stage or sessions recordings.

This usually happens while having the stream playing back on the same device used for being on screen (streaming). It not only takes additional CPU resources but may also playback the sound of your stream, which leads to echo on the live video as well as the recording. 

To solve the issue:

  • Ensure you have only one session/stage tab open. If you must have more than one session/stage tab open, mute the other tabs and keep only the active tab with sound on.
  • You can make use of headphones to eliminate the echo. This will lower the chance of the microphone capturing unnecessary sounds.
