Q: What is Hopin?

A: Hopin is an events platform where you can create engaging events that connect people around the globe. At Hopin, our mission is to provide a safe, sustainable, and accessible way for people to host and attend events by building the best all-in-one events platform in the world.

Q: What are the major features of Hopin?

A: The Hopin platform is composed of four segments:

  • stage - where you can stream directly from Hopin or play a prerecorded video
  • sessions - to interact on camera with your attendees
  • networking - where attendees can meet new contacts
  • expo - a space where vendors can display virtual booths.

Q: How can I watch a demo of Hopin?

A: We have several live demos a week that will allow you to experience the platform! You will get a full demonstration, be able to ask questions to a teammate directly and see how Hopin will fit your needs. Please pick one that fits your schedule best here: Hopin Demo Calendar.

Q: Can I run webinars on Hopin?

A: Yes, you can do that on Hopin. But, what we offer is much more than a webinar tool. Whether you’re hosting a live training workshop, bringing your company’s remote team together, or launching a full-scale digital conference, it’s easy to create an engaging Hopin event for hundreds of thousands of people. At a Hopin event, your attendees can network one-on-one, break out into group sessions, watch keynote presentations, send chat messages and polls, and explore interactive expo areas. There’s even a virtual backstage for speakers.

Q: Is your pricing per event or per month?

A: We currently have monthly and yearly pricing plans. The monthly Starter plan is $99/month while the annual Starter plan is $999/year. The monthly Growth plan is $799/month while the annual Growth plan is $8000/year. For the advanced plans (Business and Enterprise), please contact our Sales team. Q: What is the difference between the Starter, Growth and Advanced plans?

A: We’ve included all segments (networking, sessions, stage, expo, private chats) on all plans so your attendees will be able to have a great experience using the participant features. For the Organisers, we’ve added more features and tools to each plan. With the Growth Plan, you will have more ability to customize certain features of your event such as emails, registration form fields and more. With the Advanced plan, you will have the ability to use powerful integrations, customize the look of your event according to your brand, get detailed analytics and many more. Q: Can I run a free trial of Hopin?

A: Absolutely! You can create a Hopin account and click "New organization" on the left side of your home page. Once you create a new organization, you will be able to create an unlimited number of events which will run at a maximum of 2hrs per event. You will have 100 tickets/registrations to use to test out the platform. If you need more than 100 tickets/2hrs per event, you will need to subscribe to a paid plan. 

Q: How many attendees can I have at my event?

A: You can have up to 100,000 people attend your event hosted on Hopin.

Q: Is there a version of the platform in other languages besides English?

A: You can change the event user interface to other languages such as Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Italian, and Portuguese.
